Foster Cobbs Arnold

Foster Cobbs Arnold was admitted to the bar in 1999, the same year she received her juris doctorate from The University of Alabama. She was also educated at The University of the South, where she earned her bachelor of arts degree in 1991, and at Auburn University, where she earned her master’s degree in Community Planning in 1993.
Ms. Arnold is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court Middle District and Northern District of Alabama.
While earning her J.D., Ms. Arnold was a member of the Journal of the Legal Profession and a member of an ATLA Advocacy Team. In 1998 she was a member of the ATLA Trial Advocacy Regional Champion Team and also received the George Peach Taylor Award of Advocacy.
Ms. Arnold is a member of the Alabama State Bar and Tuscaloosa County Bar Association.
Ms. Arnold's areas of practice are:
- Real Estate, including residential and commercial transactions
- Energy & Environmental Law, with emphasis on title matters
- Oil and Gas Board Regulatory work and finance transactions
- Municipal Law, including land use issues
- Mineral Law, advice to landowners and lessees
- Alabama Mortgage Tax Law, advice to lenders and borrowers
