Katie B. Thompson

Katie Bowling Thompson was born in 1982 and raised in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. In 2004, she received her Bachelor of Arts in psychology, summa cum laude, from The University of Alabama. She received her Juris Doctor from The University of Alabama School of Law in 2007, and was admitted to practice in the same year.

During law school, Ms. Thompson served as a senator in the Student Bar Association, was an Honor Court Justice, co-chaired both homecoming week and new student orientation, and was a member of the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society. She also advanced to the final round of the John A. Campbell Moot Court Competition, and was selected to the Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court Team. In 2007, Ms. Thompson was awarded the Dean’s Community Service Award and the Order of the Barristers.
