David E. Rains

David E. Rains received his B.S. in Political Science from Birmingham-Southern College in 1993 and his J.D. from the University of Alabama in 1996. While earning his legal degree, Mr. Rains was a member of the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board (1995-1996).

He was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 1996, and is licensed to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit, U.S. District Court, Northern District, Middle District and Southern District of Alabama.

Professional memberships include Subject Matter Expert for the Development Committee of the Board of Bar Examiners of the Alabama State Bar, American Bar Association, Alabama State Bar, Tuscaloosa County Bar Association, Alabama Center for Dispute Resolution State Court Mediation Roster, Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, Defense Research Institute. David also serves as Adjunct Professor of the University of Alabama School of Law and on the Board of Directors and Contributing Author, Tuscaloosa Business Ink. He was also selected for the Inaugural Class of Leadership Forum for Alabama State Bar.

David’s community involvement includes Tuscaloosa Junior Achievement Board of Directors, Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama, Tip Off Club, Member of Associated General Contractors of Alabama and Christ Episcopal Church.
